Pro's =
I truly enjoy this game it feels good and smooth. When i say this i mean that the system itself is fluent and the server seems to have been coded well.
The game is fairly polished for something this new. I feel that this shows the game could have a lot of promise given more time.
The class and skill system are fun to play so far. Altho i have only tried the fighter since you can only have one character.
For a web based MUD i didn't find much lag at all.
Con's =
The skills are very unbalanced atm. From the damage they do to the levels you get them at. It should have a re-balancing of sorts.
The EXP loss from dying is far to high based on the amount of exp you get from monsters at higher levels. It should scale down as you level to be equivalent to the % you get based off a set number.
The EXP loss and ability to lose levels because of it will run off any new players mostly since it takes a LONG time to lvl after lvl 8 i definitely think the ability to lose levels should be removed all together.
The damage the monsters put out isn't equal to the level of the monster the HP of the players should ether be re-scaled or the monster damage should be lowered.
The ability to pull monsters to guards and have the guards kill them and then you be able to loot them is a problem cause new players can just farm loot this way.
I did find a problem with the arrow keys if you pushed one a lil to long or held it down it would spam a LOT which would not only cause your character to go flying across the screen with no way to stop it but would always cause significant lag to the server if multiple players were to do this.
The idea of charging ppl for a monthly subscription seems a bit out of the way for a game like this. Maybe put in a cash shop if you need money with things like EXP potions for a set amount of time. Custom character pictures. And maybe the ability to buy a few other custom things that would not in any way make the character stronger but allow the player to feel that they get there moneys worth.
Charging for more than one character slot should be totally removed. This is a MUD and in being so it will have a small community as it is if you try and charge ppl for the ability to test out more than one class it will lead to the game dying instead of bringing in new players. If you insist on charging for character slots at least give 10 character slots for free at first then charge say 2 dollars per character slot after that.
I noticed that the areas outside of the main starter area don't even have descriptions. Maybe bring in a few ppl that have dedicated time to help build up the world.
The crafting system fails almost everytime at lower lvls. Based on the time it takes to farm the ingredients to make the items it should definitely not allow you to make items that will fail. That or make the ingredients a lot easier to get with a higher drop rate from the mining.
The mining takes a fairly long time to level up as well. I would say till lvl 50 it should go up 1 level per node you hit or at least 1 level every other node you hit after lvl 25. The nodes are also a bit rare i had to go across 4 different maps just to collect lvl 15 in mining.... The scaling of mining could be kept the same if the nodes weren't as rare as they are.
