Is there any way we could have a post that lists exactly what needs to be done, and who is working on it - at least when it comes to building?
I know that we have the Backlog, but that's sort of a disorganized lump of stuff that I am not sure gets looked at very often or updated.
As someone who works on multiple pieces of a software project at work, it's been extremely helpful to have a good roadmap of what needs to be worked on, who is overseeing it, and possible what priority level it is at. I know this seems a little rigid, but I wonder if it would help keep us on task and motivated, as well as give anyone new to the team a way of knowing where they can jump in if they want to contribute to something instead of working on their own project (if they so choose)
It could even just be a really rudimentary master list of what needs to be done, but one that is located all in one place.
Deadman's Ravine Cave (east of Toldara) Status: In Progress Who: Doulos
Savannah Status: Needs Review by others Who: Doulos
Just a suggestion. It could be even more simple, or more complicated based on what people think. On the other hand, if the Backlog could be used to do this that would be fine as well.
Even if we did this just for simple building projects, and had a separate list of coding projects that are being worked on, that would work.

Great input. We have domdaria.gamepedia.com/Building_backlog but it hasn't been updated properly. I'm using Trello (https://trello.com) now for my developing backlog (which is more fine grained than the backlog at domdaria.com/Forge/Backlog (which I also use). Would you, Doulos and Zaimus, be open to start using Trello or should we try to just getting better at updating the wiki?

Downloading Trello on my phone right now and will check it out.
Okay, it seems to work fine. Is there a way to share accounts, or how exactly does it work? User name is Doulos.

Thanks for reminding me of the back log list wiki -- editing that now. Whichever system works best is the one to use, but I hope we can keep all our pages tidy, (up to date or removed). Only because I worry players may run into an abandoned spot and may think there is no active development. Surely a minor concern, if that!

PS: I don't much care for the wiki. Maybe Trello could be better? Doulos, I'm not sure which one is you when trying to add you to a group; are you Doulos5? (Assuming it must be the most recently made Doulos username.) Henrik, I have added you as well.

Hmm, I didn't realize there were multiple Doulos accounts. Looks like Afara got me added though. The email is jstainerfun@gmail.com (my random facebook catch all account!) if that helps.
Wait, that was YOU that added me. Perfect!

OK, I've set up some stuff in the Domdaria Builders Trello. I added a "Zaimus' Status" so you all, and myself can know where I'm at on things. Maybe that could be a good policy for builders to keep, that way if they go too idle, we know how to proceed with building if they are on a critical project -- something I've tried with this forum, but it looks a little messy. For example, I'm not sure what should be done with the Underwater Mines.
You all have admin rights as well.
Last note: Doulos, all the zones listed in Trello are available to work on. *'s denote how important they are to finish before Beta Launch.

I assume more *** = more important?
So right now Bargof Forest is high priority, followed by Bargof Cave/Crypt/Borderlands Forest etc?

That's true. If memory serves, there are blank rooms still in Bargof Forest.

Whoops, actually : in Trello, the *s denote importance. On the wiki backlog, first, bold denotes "must complete before beta launch" and after bold is * to denote importance.

I'll rearrange the board to a kanban/scrum (very common in software development processes) style board. It should be pretty self-explanatory. Let me know if you have any quests. Prio is determined by the order of the cards in each list/column.
